The James Tyler Guitars build
The studio floor, forty-six years later
What worked in Reseda works here: the guitar in a working player's hands on a paid date. Four things Platinum builds for James Tyler Guitars, all included in the membership.
In the rooms
Studio Elites on the tracking room wall
Your guitars hang in the main tracking room, where LA session guitarists record every day. They are the same constituency that built the company, and they pick up what is on the wall. Every session is a demo, and every record is a Tyler on somebody else's album again.

In the building
Featured, then followed up
We print a Tyler look book of the finishes and it lives in the lounge. A player finishes a session, asks what the burning-water one was, and staff hand them the book and send them to San Fernando.

Built in-house
An owners app for Tyler players
Owners register a serial and get the build sheet: body wood, finish name, pickup set, ship date. Artists carry verified rigs. New builds land in one feed. The screen-by-screen vision is live in the app board. We shipped this exact app for Darryl Jones's bass owners; yours follows the same build plan.

On the stage
A home base in Santa Monica
Down the 405 from Fourth Street. A Google Maps pin at the club's address, your endorsers hosted for sessions in our rooms, demo and artist content shot on the 5-camera stage. Tyler works out of the club like it is a second shop.

The list is not fixed. Platinum means the club's design and engineering team works for James Tyler Guitars. Sites and apps are designed and built at no cost, then maintained at $70 an hour, half our public rate. You build one guitar at a time, by hand, to order. Tell us what you need and we hold the build to the same standard.
